Common questions

The questions UK businesses ask us before they sign up. There are more questions on our FAQ page.

Is this a virtual office?

Yes. A virtual office gives your business a real address without renting a desk. You get an address at 94–96 Fulwell Road in Sunderland, mail scanning and, on Admin and Exec, a registered office.

It doesn't include desk space or meeting rooms. It's an address and a post service.

Can I use it as my registered office?

Yes, on the Admin and Exec plans. You can also use it as your directors' service address, so your home address stays off Companies House.

The Simple plan gives you a business and trading address only.

Which plan should I choose?

If you only need an address for your website and invoices, choose Simple.

If you run a limited company, choose Admin. It covers your registered office and directors' service address.

If you want the original letters as well as the scans, choose Exec.

Do you take parcels?

No. We handle letters only, on every plan. Please don't give the address to couriers or use it for returns.

What happens to legal and HMRC post?

We scan it like the rest of your post. On Admin and Exec we also flag it as urgent and text you straight away, so you don't miss a deadline.

How fast will I know my post has arrived?

The same working day. Letters that arrive on a working day are scanned that day, and you get a text and an email when they are.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Give us 30 days' notice and we'll stop your plan at the end of it. There's no long contract.

Remember to change your address with Companies House and anyone else who writes to you.

Is my ID check secure?

Yes. Your documents are kept in private storage in London, and only the staff who check them can see them.

The law says we must keep these records for five years after you leave. Then we delete them.
